Who can participate to the survey?

You are invited to take part to the survey if you are between 16 and 26 years and are living in New South Wales, Australia.

What is the purpose of the survey?

The survey explores the sexuality of young people. It includes questions about body image, sex, sexual health, and your opinion and knowledge of sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

How long will it take?

The survey will take about 20 minutes to complete.

How will my privacy be protected?

This survey is completely anonymous which means that no information will be collected that could identify you.

How do I exit if I decide to end the session but haven't finished the survey?

To exit the survey you can simply close your browser window. The responses you have provided up to that point will be included in the analysis.

Do I receive any personal benefits from doing the survey?

The survey includes some questions about your knowledge of sex and STIs. At the end of the survey you will receive some instant, anonymous feedback about your responses to these particular questions.

Will I be paid for doing the survey?

There will be no payment provided to participants in this study.

Who is conducting the survey?

This survey is being conducted by UNSW Australia in collaboration with the NSW STI Programs Unit.

How will the survey results be used?

The survey results will be used to design new sexual health programs for young people like you.
